At THE WILD AND FREE we believe a photograph is meant to evoke the true atheistic and beauty of life. A photograph should capture, convey, and portray the true feelings of its subject in such a way that it transports its observer into that unique moment.
So much of photography today seems to convey the message that post-processing is where you find the beauty in a photograph, yet we feel that in order to portray a photographs true beauty you must preserve its originality through minimal post-processing.
We believe that by over editing a photo, that once organic moment becomes one that is now artificial. As photographers we strive to capture and create photos with minimal processing and editing in order to ensure that the photograph stays true to its unique moment.
In a photography era where filters and processing reign supreme, we choose to focus on preserving the beauty seen with our own eyes instead of replacing it with what we can create in front of a screen.
